Last May, we had the opportunity to visit the community of Pucallpa, Peru, once again with another mission group full of enthusiasm and love. This trip had a special purpose: to follow the progress of the GOLL Mission Center and participate in the construction of its brick walls. Watching the brick walls rise, we could feel an immense gratitude and admiration for everyone who made this project possible.
Each brick represents not only physical effort but also the manifestation of the faith and love of all who have contributed. We want to deeply thank everyone who has contributed with their generous donations and encourage them to continue being part of our compassionate culture.
During our visit, we had the opportunity to engage in various activities that further connected us with the community.
We organized workshops and games for the children, filled with laughter and learning. We also held retreats for women and men, where we shared experiences, prayed together, and strengthened our communion with our God.
Additionally, we visited local schools, bringing the good news of salvation and the love of God to the youth, who received our message with open hearts and noticeable joy.
One of the most emotional moments of our stay was the celebration of a wedding in the community. The ceremony was a beautiful reminder of the love and unity that God calls us to live by.
Seeing all the people in the community participate with such excitement and joy filled us with hope and strength. It was an event where emotion and happiness were felt in every corner.
In Deuteronomy 28:2 establishes: “And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you if you obey the voice of the Lord your God.” In Pucallpa, we could see how God’s order is beginning to unfold and establish itself.
It was a different and special visit, where covenants were established, and a path was marked according to the divine design.
