Soccer for our children of Peru
The organized soccer tournament proved to be an unforgettable experience in our Pucallpa, Peru community. We give thanks to the collaboration of Goll Global and their donors, who generously donated soccer equipment and materials, becoming a great blessing and a positive experience for all participants.
With the participation of around 27 teams, including children, youth, and adults from both female and male branches, the tournament was an inclusive event that united the community around their passion for soccer. Categories A and B allowed players to showcase their talent and skills on the field, fostering the development of new talents and fellowship among teams.
The tournament was not just a sports competition; it was an opportunity to instill values and principles in players and the community. With the purpose of fostering a generation of righteous individuals in God, values like respect, discipline, perseverance, and solidarity were promoted among the participants.
The organization of the tournament and the teams’ participation demonstrated that sports can be a powerful tool for building a fair and supportive society. Soccer, more than just a game, became a means to promote friendship, unity, and teamwork.
The verse from Isaiah 61:4 establishes: “They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations.”
Through sports, this community could rebuild relationships, rekindle hope, and restore faith in a better future in Jesus Christ
The soccer tournament made possible by Goll Global’s generosity was a transformative experience for the community. It brought together people of all ages and genders, promoted positive values, and strengthened the bonds among community members.
